Les Robertson presented at DRI’s First Virtual Conference – Construction Law, on July 14-15, 2020. Topics included case law update on construction/insurance law in various states.
We want to assure our clients that despite the current state of uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain open for business, and continue to be available to our clients through e-mail and phone, as always. We are continuously monitoring the developing situation, as well as the recommendations provided by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control. If required everyone who is not already working remotely will be able to work seamlessly off site.
Our primary objective is to remain available to you, our clients, and continue to provide the highest level of client-service you have come to expect from us, while doing our part to help mitigate the spread of the virus. To this end, we are limiting our in-person availability, but continue to be readily available to assist our clients by telephone or by e-mail.

Les Robertson was a Volunteer Scorer in the 2020 San Diego County High School Mock Trial Competition. This year’s competition included 33 San Diego County High Schools with the winner advancing to the California State Finals to be held in Sacramento in May, 2020.
Les Robertson will be speaking at the annual DRI Construction Law Seminar in Chicago April 1-3, 2020. This year’s theme is “2020 Vision – Insights for the New Decade”. The title of Les’ panel’s session will be “Case Law Update: Race Against the Clock” and will provide discussion on the latest developments in insurance coverage as they relate to construction claims. On December 11, 2019, Mr. Robertson will be providing a training session including a discussion on best practices for handling California claims to an insurance company client’s construction defect unit.
