Julie Kim focuses her practice on analyzing insurance coverage issues in construction defect claims.
After graduating from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 2007, Julie worked at a law firm in New York, New York as an attorney specializing in insurance coverage disputes. She represented insurance carriers in coverage litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States and provided advice to insurers regarding coverage issues involving various policy types, including commercial general liability, professional liability, and group health plans governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Julie was named a “Rising Star” in the area of Insurance Coverage by New York Super Lawyers Magazine in September 2014.
Julie also has experience as a Senior Claims Specialist handling claims reported to a major insurance carrier under its commercial general liability and business auto policies, and as a Senior Claims Examiner handling claims reported under veterinarians’ comprehensive business owners’ policies for a third-party claims administrator.
